Tate Brothers Arrested in U.S. as UK Presses Further Charges
Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have been arrested by U.S. Marshals after the British Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) unveiled a second wave of accusations. The charges include seven new counts of rape, and allegations of sex trafficking and child pornography that tie back to 2010‑2017.
Tristan faces one sexual assault charge, two rapes, and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation. Andrew is charged with seven rapes and other offenses related to the same timeframe.
The CPS cited additional evidence from Bedfordshire Police and now lists seven alleged victims. U.K. officials have asked for extradition of the brothers, and the U.S. Department of Justice confirmed the arrests were part of those proceedings.
In May 2025, prosecutors confirmed the brothers would eventually face 21 allegations in the U.K., covering offences from 2012‑2016. Both Tate men have repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.
The case underscores the growing global focus on transnational sexual‑abuse allegations and the legal mechanisms to inter‑country law enforcement cooperation.
