Madonna surprised fans at Coachella making a guest appearance during Sabrina Carpenter's Friday night headline set. The Queen of Pop joined Carpenter on stage for a duet of 'Vogue', 'Like A Prayer' and a song from Madonna's new album. This performance followed days of speculation regarding Madonna's attendance at the festival in the California desert.

On Wednesday, Madonna officially confirmed the release of 'Confessions II', a sequel to her 2005 album 'Confessions On A Dance Floor'. After Carpenter finished a rendition of 'Juno', Madonna emerged as the intro to 'Vogue' played, with dancers striking poses.

Dressed in matching blonde hair and lace corsets, the pair performed the 1990 house hit before moving to 'I Feel So Free' from Madonna's new album. Speaking to the crowd, Madonna remarked on her 20-year anniversary since her last Coachella performance, noting its significance as a 'full circle moment'. She humorously mentioned appreciating performing with someone shorter than herself.

The collaboration between Madonna and Carpenter occurred during the second weekend of Coachella, which is known to draw over 100,000 attendees daily since its inception in 2002. Saturday’s lineup will see Justin Bieber return for a second time to headline, followed by Colombian pop star Karol G on Sunday.
